I have returned for my 6th LD and my first one happening on finals week o_o

As usual I'm preparing to put together something unique and probably well out of range of my ability. I've learned a lot since my last jam and hopefully I'll be able to pull off something that you all can enjoy.

About a week ago I ran a survey asking preferred programming language and level of experience. A lot of you have asked for the results so here they are! Keep in mind this survey was also shared with several other programming communities.

It looks like a majority of people use C#, with Java and Python coming in at second.

As for the level of experience it's definitely skewed!

Contrary to the hypothesis, there didn't seem to be any correlation between level of experience and preferred language :thinking:

I've been seeing some really high-quality entries once again from all of you! Good job to everyone who submitted or at least made an attempt :P

Unfortunately for me, some lingering mental health issues really dampened my motivation and creativity (on top of the theme sucking as always), and I ended up just taking the weekend off to rest. I made very positive steps on Sunday and felt a lot better but I didn't have time to throw together a product I was happy with.

That said I've got the whole summer free to get hyped and practice for LD45, so I hope to see you all there! Even though I can't give ratings, I'll still be playing some of your games and giving feedback, so if you've got a game you'd like me to try, submit it here.

I haven't been around for a while, looks like the place has been kept nice and clean! :ok_hand:

I'm fully planning on participating, time allowing, maybe even with a team this time (though I probably won't have time to make something even as big as some of my previous entries).
