LD24

Let’s do this.

As if Ludum Dare wasn’t ambitious enough, when I finally decide to participate, I have work Saturday/Sunday (and probably Monday). Well, the constraints of the compo will make sure I can’t bury my work under promises of revisiting it “later” and then question the value of whole piece.

It’ll almost certainly be HTML5/JavaScript. If I use tools other than a text editor and a browser it’ll be Inkscape; maybe Melody Assistant if I’ve got time, but music would be a last consideration.

Let’s do this.

Looks like I won’t make it

Time is running out and I’ve hit some issues with JavaScript. It wouldn’t have been particularly flashy, although it probably would have been fun for a few minutes. Since I’m covering for a co-worker on vacation it will be a while before I pick this up again, not even the jam is an option. Considering I had to think of something during my shift yesterday, and only had three hours to work on this today, I’m somewhat happy with myself.

Maybe the next LD will coincide with my days off.

And congrats to everyone who’s wrapping up and submitting their work!
