It sucks to be me
Yet another Ludum Dare I can’t participate. I need to finish some other projects I’m working on before having the pleasure to spent 48 hours making a game.
Geez, maybe next time, God willing.

I was hoping to make it on time for the compo, but I still need to build the levels of my game.
Sight, next time maybe. For now, let's summit this for the jam.
4 HOURS TO GO!
DON'T STOP 'TIL YOU FINISH THE DAMN GAME!!

Finished the sorting of theme candidates.

Hope I can skim through the Godot course by GDQuest to get a better chance with the upcoming Ludum Dare :)

I just want to be popular, ya know:
I made a list of game genres in case you want to make some script to pick the two genres for you https://gist.github.com/shackra/46c8c67e7039c3aa52d49dfeff4dad3c
I got the pulsating rhythmical remedy 🎶
My game is called Dance Dance Road Rage Revolutions. Hope this combination of racing and rhythmic game mechanics makes a good game.
So far, this is how it looks.
I would made more progress with this rhythmic race game if I didn't get my stomach sick :/
Gonna sleep, see you in 8 hours!

I wanted to randomly generate the obstacles and the notes for Dance Dance Road Rage Revolutions but the final product is unsatisfying that I may be better designed them by hand.
After throwing through the window my attempt to procedural-ly generate the notes and obstacles for my game I decide to do something more useful and add the sockets for the notes.

Next step? getting the interaction between the socket and the note right.
Not so proud about it, but anyway...

Didn't make on time and I have to go to Mass, so, screw it, I will switch to jam as in LD40 :/

Yes, another Ludum Dare completed!
I really felt the pressure to finish the game on time for submitting. This is the first time I have done anything like this, and I feel happy to have another game completed under my belt, horray for me!.

It turns out I have hit a bug with Godot's PackedScene not saving my dynamically generated doors for the level (details here), so I cannot continue until the bug is either fix or someone comes and tells me I was doing it wrong lol.
If you want to see what my game was about, take a look at this GIF:

Luck is the religion of the weak, so, I wish you all the success of the world to those left competing! :)
It turns out I was not experiencing a bug but just miss-using the features Godot provides, after following someone else instructions I was able to re-load an scene with all dynamically added nodes, as intended.
Jam, here I come!
