Themes slaughtered!

I might have been little harsh with the slaughtering, but I believe in quality.

theme_slaughter.png

Things I slaughtered with little to no thought: * Genre suggestions (Platformer,Racing, etc.) * Mechanics (Match three, RTS, etc.) * Graphics (Pixel Art, Top-Down, etc.) * Variations of last LD themes (More you X the less you Y, Good is Bad, Hard is Easy, etc.) * All duplicates

Yet another jam without submission

I was not happy with what I had made, thus left it unsubmitted yet another time.

LD 44

I made it!

oscilloscope_screenshot.png I have been around since LD30. Most of the time I have loved the theme, gotten unique and simple idea within the first hour but I have only ONCE managed to finish a game, and even then it was rushed.

This time around it was exact opposite. * I remembered about the jam 12 hours in. * Hated the theme. * Decided that I will not even try.

Since what are the odds of me submitting a game when: 1. I have 12 hours less than I normally do. (and even then I never get to submit anything) 2. I'm not prepared at all like I was the previous times 3. I have a small baby I did not have around the previous times.

So I just went on about my day, but kept constantly thinking about game ideas. Then 18 hours in I decided to start tinkering with unity and ended up with a finished project. :open_mouth:

Feels amazing.

I have to warn you that it is a very challenging puzzle game. Play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/oscilloscope

Here is a GIF (Couldn't figure out how to embed a video)

I know the game seems a bit intimidating and I'm not going to tell you it isn't. If anything it just gets more intimidating with each level. But I hope this GIF will help anyone that would like to still give it a try.

I would love to get your honest opinions. Thank you! Play here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/oscilloscope

Ludum Dare 45

Definitely maybe in...

I'm currently working on a side project that is almost ready enough to be published. I won't be able to join LD45 if I don't get it finished, so maybe these 30 days will work as a deadline for me.
