Hi everyone! I have some time, so comment down with your game if you don't have yet 20 votes =) (possibly with HTML5 compatibility, since I can't download stuff on the work computer ;) )
If you have time, have a look at my COMPO entry! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/paper-plane

This round I focused on addicting gameplay ;)

Hi Everyone!
we are missing a few votes to get to 20 for the first game jam of this team :)

Hi everyone, I wanted to share an update on my 8 hours progresses =)
I decided to get out of my 3d and blender comfort zone and go for a 2D card game.
Since I have two left hands for drawing, I decided to ask the help of stable diffusion to get some graphics =)

Maybe for the first time ever, I do have the feeling that I approached this jam the right way =) Clear idea, small scope. I am really enjoying and most of the logic are completed.
I still need the "buy upgrades" screen, a few more enemies and the boss battle, then it will be done.
With one full day ahead, I am super happy!
PS: all the art was created with a mix of gimp and AI. I am very amused by what and how fast things can be achieved.

Somehow, I managed to finish with something I am decently proud of and with some time to spare =)
Backstory: not all farmers have easy life... Harvey here is particularly unlucky and every harvest season he have to convince his unwilling crops to be harvested.
The game is already available for testing, if you want to give it a go:

For my first 2D Jam game, I decided to leverage AI generated art.
Does it mean that I just prompted what I wanted in an art generator and that was it?
Of course not! I started from several initial options, picked the ones I liked the most, used GIMP to select the parts that I wanted and then run through the AI again for refining. Here's for example the steps that took me to create the frames for the monsters:

Rinse and repeat for all the assets needed for the game ;)
Don't miss the opportunity to try it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/52/harvey-the-harvester
Hi Everyone!
Did you like Slay the Spire?
Then do not play this game, since it's heavily inspired and far, far worse than that ;) (only a few more votes missing to get to 20!)
