Hello world,

We are black d@ck, a student community of the Department of Informatics at University of Piraeus and this the first time we take part in Ludum Dare. Our team consists of four members: Leonidas (aka xalgra), George (aka george16), George (aka sophron) and Despina (aka nyuu).

So, why did we decide to participate? Everything started when we took the initiative to conduct a study group for an online course on HTML5 Game Development. Consequently, Ludum Dare would be a great opportunity to put what we have learnt so far into practice.

Now that we introduced ourselves, we would like to say that we are really excited about this contest, regardless of the outcome. We feel certain that it is going to be an interesting, enjoying and constructive experience.

Let’s see what we’ve done so far:

•  We set up our workstations and the network.

• We created a repository and set up a projector.

• We came up with a good idea that is really hard to explain.

• We took lunch.

Despina’s meal was milk with cereals and a piece of cake. The rest of us ate stuffed vegetables with mayonnaise (a great addition).

Brace yourselves. Debugging is coming.

We’ve been in coding rage for more than 12 hours but now it’s finally time to sleep.

Leonidas made some improvements in the AI module while George and George worked on entities and collisions. Let’s hope to have a first version ready tomorrow.
