Sorry if this is painfully pointed out in other posts, but I’m new. (Hi!)

What’s the policy for background music/sound stuff. I have a good song in my music library that I’d like to use, but do not own the rights to. For purposes of the compo can I throw it in if I give credit or do I need to grab open source stuff?
