Don't Know if this is Possible

Been coding for under a fortnight, no sound experience, never done proper pixel art before, 13 years old, and now for some reason I'm gonna try Ludum Dare. I don't expect this to turn out well.

Using MonoGame, Paint.net, and Bosca Ceoil.

Got My Idea

Despite having no idea how to implement it (I've literally been coding for 3 weeks), here's my idea:

You are a robot who gets its power from hydroelectricity. However, you are running out of power. Pesky humans have polluted your river, and now it is your job to clear it out so the stream will be clear and you can get your electricity once more.

Could Someone Help?

After some research, I found that I need to format my game so it can be played on computers without MonoGame installed. I think I found a solution, but I can't test it, because obviously I have MonoGame installed. I know its a big ask, but could someone maybe try this test (Not my Ludum Dare submission)?

Cool Results, I Guess

Overall: 650th (3 average from 36 ratings)

Fun: 589th (2.882 average from 36 ratings)

Innovation: 592nd (2.765 average from 36 ratings)

Theme: 498th (3.382 average from 36 ratings)

Graphics: 657th (2.853 average from 36 ratings)

Audio: 413th (2.971 average from 36 ratings)

Humor: 362nd (2.548 average from 33 ratings)

Mood: 591st (2.879 average from 35 ratings)

So, I guess I did pretty well, considering I've only been using MonoGame for 3 weeks. I think I got somewhere between top 80% and 90%, which I'm cool with (Just to note, I had very limited statistics and I'm in the middle of the summer holidays, so my math skills are pretty much non-existent, so I may be way off on that). Thanks guys!

Also, thanks for the motivation before the jam! I think I burnt myself out on game dev :sob:, so I might just try to learn some low-level stuff, like C and Assembly, instead of improving my MonoGame skills.

In in!

2nd Ludum Dare, not done much coding since the last one, though, so don't know how it's gonna go. Using MonoGame, Paint.net, bxfr, and Bosca Ceoil

Would you guys have anything against the use of PICO-8?

I'm just worrying that since it's paid software, some people might have something against me using it. I know previous entries have used it, but would you guys be cool with me using it, or would you rather me use something else, like Love2D?
