Game is done! ROOP (Running Out Of Power)

Well, I had a slow start. I forgot that LD39 started on Friday and had my group game night scheduled so I didn't get started for almost 5 hours after it opened up. Add to that the fact that my wife dragged me out to a barbecue with friends on Saturday and I didn't have as much time as I wanted.

In the end, I am pretty happy with the results though.

My game is ROOP (Running Out Of Power). Original, I know, but whaddaya want? =)

You are in a space ship that can only 1000 units of power. Enemy ships are trying to steal your power and you have to stop them.

Plugging under-appreciated games

So, I don't know what the rules are here, but are we allowed to make blog posts about under-recognized games? I have seen two or three games stuck in the "Zero" category that really deserve to be reviewed. People put in a lot of work into their games, and maybe don't know they are supposed to rate other games, I guess. Anyway, Just wondering what we are allowed to do. Thanks.

LD39 Game Demo Video

Wow, what a fun experience this has been. I'm really happy with how my entry turned out. I started a game in LD38, but it was really unplayable and totally incomplete so I didn't bother to submit it. LD39 is my first Ludum Dare, and won't be my last. Check out ROOP - Running Out Of Power and let me know what you think. Known issues are listed on the game page.

Sending messages to other users

I'm getting some very helpful comments on my game, and I am trying to figure out how to send messages to the people who have commented. So far, the only way I have been able to do that is to just post in my own game thread and hope they come back to see it. Any suggestions? Is that even possible? Thanks for the ratings, the suggestions, and any help.
