Ludum Dare 47

Entry Development Timelapse

Since I recorded the development of my entry, An Hour Long Minute, I decided to make a timelapse out of it, although due to the video length it got compressed more than I would have liked. Still, I thought I would share this here. The thumbnail is a little corny, but oh well, haha.

I plan to upload a shorter video detailing the development process sometime in the next few days, I'll share that here as well when the time comes. It won't be as long and so I don't think the quality will suffer as was the case with this video.

Here's a link to the entry page. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/an-hour-long-minute

Here's a fun entry almost at 20 ratings, let's get it there!

Looper

This was one of the first games I played through and reviewed when rating began, and it pains me to keep seeing it in the danger category as I thought it was fun to play through, albeit it is quite a large download and I was fairly harsh in my original feedback. I also spent quite a bit of time trying to beat it, I suppose that has something to do with it as well. It is the nicest looking (in my opinion of course) 3D game I've seen yet, I really liked how all of the art came together and the gameplay, although most certainly limited by the universal nature of this jam, was fun and had a unique twist to it. Either way, the link is above if anyone is interested in giving that entry the ratings it needs, at the very least I enjoyed playing through it.

Just a reminder to...

...Rate games in the Danger Category! There are some fun entries floating around in there at the moment as well, it'd be a shame for them to not reach 20 ratings.

Post-Mortem Video

Here is a link to the post-mortem for my entry, An Hour Long Minute. I mostly just ramble about Mechanics and what was ultimately not meant to be. I didn't realize it until the very end, but the compression that OBS was doing made the gameplay sections very rough looking, but if you think of that being how the game actually looks then it looks kind of cool.

Thank you to everyone for taking part in this jam, this was a good first time and I'm looking forward to doing this again next April.
