Ludum Dare 50

first ludum dare!

hey hey, i'm really excited about participating in that kind of event, because that's my first time ever when i decided to join a ludum dare and try and create something from scratch in two days. hope that'll be fun! anyways, here are my theme suggestions: 1. Beyond Infinity - game based on something "infinite": infinite terrain, infinite goal and other 2. Second Person - game, where you try to implement a "second person perspective" as a main feature 3. Otherworldly - usual mechanics with unusual execution: walking with TAB and caps lock, strange gravitation in platformer and more. feel free to experiment!

good luck!

hello, dear participants! first of all, i want to wish all of you good luck on ludum dare 50. i hope that it'll be fun and unique experience for all of us, especially if it's your first ludum dare (like in my case). and let's hope that the theme would be nice and also, i have a question which i haven't found in an old rules: am i allowed to use any tutorials during the development of the game? for example, if i want to create a system, that i don't know how exactly to do, am i allowed to use any existing tutorials or videos (without using of a source code, of course)

once again, good luck

5 minutes left - i hope everyone ready to have some fun and create something interesting! good luck, dear developers

first day

the first day was truly wild! finished almost all gameplay stuff, but there is too much visual that i need to do... hope i'll have time before the end of compo. i wish i didn't have to sleep how did your first day of ludum dare went?

progress

11 hours left! i hope you have enought time to finish your game. as of me, i think i have enough time to finish my idea. currently, i've done: - most of programming, just 2-3 important things need to be done - most of soundtrack - 99% of needed 2d visual - only a small part of needed models, perhaps i'll do less if i won't have time - brainstormed idea and plot

Ludum Dare 53

good luck!

good luck to everyone, hope you all excited, and also, a question: what's the fastest way to make a soundtrack for you game? i'm participating as a solo developer without enough experience to make soundtrack, so i'm a bit confused on that. maybe some site/program?
