Ludum Dare 48

Check out my game, Lost Light!

Hey everyone, I have just uploaded my game and I'd love it if you checked it out!

In Lost light, your goal is to make it as deep into the cave system before your lantern runs out of fuel. You can find more fuel on your travels courtesy of dead adventurers, along with a bunch of strange a mysterious spectacles.

New patch for Lost Light!

After getting some feedback, I have decided to implement a difficulty system into my game, Lost Light. You can now choose between three modes, giving a balance for players who want to casually explore as well as those that like a challenge. I have also fixed the high score system and added a toggle for the music in the main game.Screen7.png

Added Raytracing support!

I've received lots of great feedback for my game, Lost Light, and I would like to thank everyone who has played it so far. I have managed to add Raytracing support to the game, just before the jam ends. If you've got a Ray-tracing capable GPU feel free to check it out! The RT version will be a separate download link on my Itch.IO page. RT.png

Please be warned that this is VERY experimental and probably more buggy than the regular version. Check it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/lost-light

Got an RTX GPU?

This jam was my first time using Ray tracing

The differences are subtle, but noticeable. It's weirdly interesting comparing the two and picking out he visual differences! RTComparison.png
