Thank you for 70+ plays!

Thank you to everyone who played and rated our game! It's been a while since we participated in a game jam, but this has been our most successful one yet. I'm proud of the game we made. The feedback we're getting has been awesome, highlighting what we did well, and giving lots of great suggestions on how we can improve. I've already implemented some of the changes and will be uploading an updated version after the rating period is over.
If you haven't yet please check out our game and let us know what you think: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/root-quest
This is also the jam where I've played the most, and I'm very impressed with so many entries! Here are five other games I think deserve some extra attention:
The Drown
Tower defense / action shooter hybrid. This game has incredible production value: it's fully voice acted, has an introductory cut scene, awesome pixel art, and amazing atmosphere. I can't recommend this one enough. Even the game page they made is well formatted and provides detailed instructions. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/the-drown

King's Table
A tower defense compo entry with a very interesting twist. One of the most engaging games I've played in LD46 for sure so far! I think this one could be developed further and made into something really special. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/kings-table

Lights Out
Their first jam entry, and it's really well-done! Good art, good sounds, and a great atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing future jam entries from them! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/lights-out-2

Lifeform
A strange puzzle game with dynamic music where you solve puzzles to stimulate growth in your alien life form. It's hard to describe exactly, but it's a lot of fun! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/lifeform

Abiogenesis
Strange, atmospheric endless runner style game with a classic arcade feel. The music is excellent once you get going, with a heartbeat-like bass drum that makes this feel a bit like a rhythm game. I found myself playing this one for quite a while, and I genuinely hope they continue developing it further. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/abiogenesis
