Hi there!
I just wanted to say hello since it's my first game jam ever! I did a few projects over the years, although most of them are unfinished husks. I studied English philology with game creation (weird combo, I know) and I fell in love with programming (even if I'm not the best at it.
My engine of choice is GameMaker and regarding the rest - it's up for me to discover.

It's 2:37 AM - i almost finished the loop. Tomorrow the day is going to be a bit dicey to allow me to work code-wise, so I will try to get some sprites done.
I am so incredibly pumped for this, it's my first gamejam, I have a ton of support from my fiancee, and I'm ACTUALLY doing some progress, AND I've learned so damn much in these -teen hours.

I've noticed that I'm strangely anxious regarding the new Ludum Dare. It's my second LD and second game jam overall; my first game wasn't anywhere high in the stats, but I'm still pretty proud of it. I don't know what this weekend will bring, however I'm positive it will be interesting. I have basically no ideas of what to do with the themes that we voted on, so that's another stressor right here :D

So, due to the time difference, need for sleep, and overall life, it's time to begin the work now (~11:30AM)! i do have a faint idea of what to do, so we'll see how it goes.

It was sure yesterday already, but wanted to say that I have to drop out. With a heavy heart and a healthy dose of disappointment, but I wasn't able to work on my project. It's still going to be made, just not on the schedule. However I'll make sure to play some games, give feedbacks, and celebrate your games! I'm proud of you all!
