First Ludum Dare got construction mechanics down for the game idea and even got to go enjoy dinner, thought the theme was bad but now am so keen to see where this goes

4 hours in and I have just gone down the hole of randomly generating and colouring pixel art faces, got to add some more variation still but happy with the overall results, still not sure what this game will be yet haha

Yea, I have fallen down the rabbit hole of building systems and doing research into topics I have interest in like procedural image generation and well now I can make random red shapes and people but without a massive push and no sleep I don't think there's going to be a game argh! Enjoy pic of strange red symbols am happy with them even if not a game.

Co worker challenged we to Ludum Dare this year so here we go team, going to get something done this time woot woot!

Made a solid start, have my idea and have setup simple workers with a color replacement shader to allow for multiple colors, overall happy

So very happy with todays progress, got all the back end systems done and setup shaders so now we have the workers and rooms setup, still lots to do on the visual feedback to the player but Idea is coming together
