I'm plan to work on this LD, but my mind is "Stuck in a Loop", without any ideas < o >

This is my first idea:

Is that a valid idea? I wanted to avoid spacial loops, or working with cereal loops* =P

Game Title Idea: Dejavu

You play as a character, which are in a unknown environment, and need to discover where you are and how to scape from that place. However there is some traps in the environment that makes you die. You just got respawned with the same memory on the previous spawn point, so you know where trap that just killed you are now. In some scenes you may have some mosters to kill. So in order to leave the loop you have to scape all traps and monsters from each map.

You will level up and increase some skills, however every time you die, all your physical skill are reset to default.

Specs:

• Style: 2D plataform
• Art: 2D Pixel art
• Engine: Unity 3D
• Sounds: Not decided yet

I got this idea from first Resident Evil movie, where the main character get this mind reset but keep some survivel skills memory

*(maybe some ant size player where you need to survive inside a Fruit Loop island surrounded with milk :smile:)
