As the sun sets on our first day, I've set up a desk ornament to set the mood.

As day 2 draws to a close, I'm reflecting on what makes these game jams fun... I think it's the opportunity to create new forms of art that we love, but have never tried before! Like this little TRON-inspired spaceship, for example: before this game jam, I had never used Blender without a tutorial, but in one day I managed to create this thing and be genuinely proud of it!

As someone who has a hugely difficult time finishing projects, having an opportunity to be forced to create something in a certain time is actually when I create the things I'm most proud of.

So thank you, fellow artists, and keep creating!
