Here's how far I've come so far:

I have a working system of winning/losing the game and am currently trying to balance everything (earning money, drinking coffee, brewing coffee, pouring coffee into the cup, ... You get the idea).

My goal is to get upgrades working in the next few hours, but we'll see. Anyways, I am already pleased with having a playable game right now.

Hey! I've finally found the time to record this gameplay video of my compo entry: "Avoidance".

You can play and rate Avoidance here!

But how does it work?

• Avoid geometric bodies
• Shoot geometric bodies
• Get the highest score
• The higher the score, the slower the player and his fire rate
• WASD or arrow keys to move
• Mouse to aim
• left click to shoot

Software

• Unity3D for making the game
• Blender3D for modeling and UV mapping
• GarageBand for music
• sfxr for sound

I'm in for my third Ludum Dare and for the third time in a row. It's so addicting! I hope to have enough time and coffee when it starts, but it looks like I could have right now. 😬

Also, I have finished the theme slaughter! Maybe I should have kept one more to make it an even number, but I think I was generous enough, looking at how few themes most of you guys kept. 😄

So lets hope for a good theme and I wish all of you an interesting and successful Ludum Dare!

As stated previously, I'm in for my third Ludum Dare (now I know for sure)! 😁

To remind me of what's so great about the Ludum Dare, I have thought about how you can get better at making games. And I've found that the Ludum Dare is quite good at supporting this progress.
