Welp, Text Mesh Pro just broke
Text Mesh Pro just decided to break all my text just after I finished the UI. Yay!

I really don't understand how the Smart Balance system works. I get that the more games you rank, the higher it will go, but does it decrease as people rank your game? Also, does leaving feedback/comments affect your Smart Balance? What is my "Coolness Factor" and what is "Karma for Feedback"? I have zero idea how this whole system works and I can't find any information on it. Does anyone know anything about this? Back to playing and ranking games!
Anyone particularly like a game or just want to share their own with me? Just leave a comment, and if it is HTML5 (or another web-based standard) I will be sure to rate and leave some good feedback! Mine is https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/a-spark-of-light! I wish you'll the best of luck and hope you had fun coding all night!
Post your favorite browser based games here or your own and I'll be sure to check them out!
Here's mine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/a-spark-of-light
Keep up the flow of great browser based games, guys! Post them here and I'll rate them within a day (if you are download only then it may take longer). Remember to play everyone's in the comments and give great feedback (being critical is a must for helping improve quality)!

I got a free period right now and would love to play some games. I am on a Chromebook right now so I can't rate downloadables but I will get to them eventually.

Help this guy/girl out, his/her game deserves more credit: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/some-seriously-screwed-sheep#/
I find that download only games often don't get ratings even if they are excellent! While rating browser based games is much easier on me, I wanted to check out some of your downloadables while I have time!

I am rating games once again, send me as many as you can! Let's see if I can rate another 100 games over the weekend!

My first every LDJam has been amazing. The community is awesome and everyone gives great feedback and can point out specific areas where you could improve. I have learned so much about good game design and time management from the more experienced devs. Also, I have really enjoyed seeing such a variety of takes on the theme, quite a few made me question if my own take made sense.
Before I took part in this, I really had difficulties creating something seamless and sticking with it long enough to polish it. I learned how to use shaders to make up for my lack of talent as an artist and plenty of people have pointed me to great tools for making music!
LD has been a great experience for me, one that I will be happy to share with my artist, musician, and programmer friends, at the next Jam!
Since I have no shame:

Try out my game!

First of all, I would like all of the people that have given me such great advice and feedback on my LD40 game. You have helped me out so much and I have improved immensely. The wonderful community here really surprised me. I will definitely be coming back for the next Jam!
Anyway, I took all of the feedback that I got on my game, A Spark of Light, and created a post jam build. I went through the comments and pinpointed the major issues as listed here:
I addressed these issues with several additions and tweaks:
Hopefully, I can get some feedback on the Post Jam version about the tweaks I have made. I am planning to submit this game for my final project in my STEM Game Development class so any and all advice is appreciated.
