I have finished my game! It is a puzzle game, where you can write notes that show up for other people to help them (or troll them?)!
Well… off to sleep hope it doesnt get broken while I sleep. It’s nice to do it in two days, not one day like last time.
I am in boys! Hoping to create something different then a walking simulator this time. Maybe even include some real music. But I still dont know how to create it so thats probably not gonna happen. I am going to use Unity, Photoshop, Blender(?) and maybe Bosca Ceoil. I am so hyped :).
I have finished my 4th Ludum Dare game! This time it surprisingly isnt a walking simulator(!), but a 2d platformer in space with rockets and stuff. This is also the first time I have real music in my game (its horrible) made with the awesome tool Bosca Ceoil. Summed up LD is awesome as always!

My 9th LD, feels good to do another one, after missing LD 44. Kind of proud of this one, always wanted to make a bullet hell game for Ludum Dare, finally did it! :smile:

Can't believe it's the tenth time I am doing this, the first time I did this 4 years ago now, back then I didn't know much about game dev, or programming. And after all this time, it's always such a great time.
Looking forward to create some awesome game, maybe this is gonna be the big one for me :). I am probably going to use Unity again, because I was too lazy and busy to prepare something else.
That's about how my game looks after the first day of work. It's a turn based, grid based rpg - you are going to protect the dark light in a dark dark world. I am pretty happy with how much I did. I even created randomly generated looks for enemies! Most gameplay mechanics are pretty much done, tomorrow I just need to make more content, the soundtrack and maybe some sound fx too.
Feels great! Can't believe this was my 10th LD. Now it's time to sleep - it's 3 am where I am. Hope I won't wake up to people saying my game's broken :smile:.

That was scary! I found a game breaking bug about 15 minutes before submission hour started, but luckily I managed to fix it in time. Woweee. That was fun, as always!
Pretty sure this will be my 13th LD. That is insane.
Gonna be taking it kind of easy this time. Also gonna be using Godot for the first time, so that is cool!

Most likely going to use Unity or Godot, I haven't decided yet.
Probably going to take it easy again, surprisingly I found out that my games even tend to be better when I don't go too hard :). The last few LDs I like to have basically my whole game finished during the first day and to spend the next day doing some polishing and finishing early.
Quite happy with how the aesthetics of my game are turning out!

I think this is going to be my 17th LD? that's a significant digit. I have quite a lot of stuff on my plate, but I won't miss a LD :), it might not be a two day endeavour (again), but it is definitely going to be a game!

I am making a deckbuilder inspired by a certain ufo50 game, the gameplay programming is pretty much done. Feels good! Now I just need more content, sound FX and music.
