Ludum Dare 47

Our first game

I'm here to tell you a short, but interesting story, that had happened during Ludum Dare 47. A couple of months ago we have decided to join any next Game Jam. We were going to join some itch.io jams, but all times there were something wrong, and we failed even without starting doing any work. But 5 days ago, when all team members was in one discord voice, we started thinking about game idea, that fits best to jam theme. We have though so much as, but all them was bad. So without a exct stable idea, we started to make something. At first our game was in 3d, about biker, that had broken his neck stuck in endless dream about his riding on a cosmo bike, but at second day we realized, that we can't make such good physics and graphics, that would be cool enough. In frustration, when we had ~30 hours of time left, i started a new Unity project, this time in 2D. As before, we still didn't have the slightest idea what kind of game to make. We could not think of anything, and decided to ask some non-programmer friends from Discord. They proposed many cool game plans, we took something from each and started creating. This time things had gone better, and at the evening of last day we have already had working prototype. Just needed to fix some bugs and add features. for convenience, we chose Unity collab to save time, and this became the main problem. When there was the last hour to load, it turned out that both people working with the engine had completely different games. So, during last couple of hours we made final changes and improvements to make the game better, and did not realized, that we did not sync the projects. We were confused, and didn’t want anyone's work to be lost. So, we decided, that our game will have 2 versions LMAO... So....
