I'm a bit late to make a post on here, but this was our first time doing the ludum dare jam, and our game is uploaded!!

it's a light-hearted (lighter-hearted than it looks...?) interactive fiction game about loan-shark vampires, where you barter for people's blood and run protection money schemes against other vampires in town.

between working, having a busy weekend, and none of my usual jam buddies taking part, i was going to skip this ludum dare - but i ended up throwing something together over the last couple of evenings anyway :bird:

doomscrolling is a very short (1-2 mins) twitter-scrolling simulator about being stuck in the cycle of reading endless terrible news, feeling bad, trying to get away, and reopening it all again minutes later just to stay in the loop. it's small, janky, and i've been radio silent all weekend, but i had a lot of fun making something (and trying to go it solo for a change)! it's playable in browser over on itch.io :slight_smile:

to be honest, i wasn't thrilled about the theme on friday, but i've seen so many cool interpretations and i'm v much looking forwards to playing folks' games!!

Joined late (again...) so only came up with something little, but I'm pretty happy with it for a solo project, and it's been a nice couple days working away and drawing moles :)
