PROLOGUE

Year 2XXX, the only living things left on Earth are the companions once providing comfort for human beings who managed somehow to self-immolate in a nuclear fire: Robots. You are a rogue drone looking for any other survivors in the area. All of a sudden, you recieve a signal: it's weak and obviously very far away, but you know that you have to recieve it... but why?....

(ik the backstory sounds stupid but I had to make it up in last hours before jam ended)

Basically I had to learn Godot almost from zero making this game, adjusting the goals to fit in the time limit of jam. Initially I wanted to make it have an XCOM-like gameplay (with turns, layers and json maps), but eventually understood that this would take way more than just three days to implemwnt (considering I also had to attend uni classes in the meantime) and limited it to being randomly generated square grid. I hope that over time all this will be actually implemented if I won't just abandon it as always haha
