I dont think i can make my own game this time but i still want to participate somehow. Offering all the time my weekend has to offer to someone who is in need of a developer with the following skills: - Unity3D - RESTApi-Development of any kind - Angular - PyxelEdit - Photoshop (not an artist!) and i can offer my servers to run webgames.
Previous games of mine: https://ldjam.com/users/wujood/games

I haven't had much time to rate other games yet.. just founded a company days before the jam started, but still wanted to participate.. and now i dont have time to play & rate some games.. will do this maybe over the holidays! :)
Until then.. feel free to play mine and comment yours! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/alien-jam
Hey guys,
i just created an open source project on github with the goal to collect helpful links to everything that relates to game jams and game development. Feel free to contribute your favorite tools!
https://wujood.github.io/awesome-gamejam/
https://github.com/wujood/awesome-gamejam

Over the last days i looked at this feed and scanned all the tools and software you guys are going to use. Now i am running a bit short on those.
I started collecting all my findings on this repository: https://github.com/wujood/awesome-gamejam and create a github website (for visuals): https://wujood.github.io/awesome-gamejam/
Does anyone miss their tools on this list? I want this list to be a guidance for beginners and to those who want to explore other tools
A couple of days ago i started asking you guys for tools that you are going to use and looked at the blog posts made to get as much free (or at least "try as long as you want") tools as possible.

Boy, oh boy, was i surprised with the results! There were some tools that just blew me away and i can't wait to use them! I created an open source project to allow for everyone to contribute tools if they think there is something missing or if they created tools themselves and want them to be featured. As long as the tools are somewhat free and helpful, i will put them on that list.

Thanks to everyone responding to my questions and thanks for all your blog posts that helped me help myself and hopefully you!
This is a curated list that contains helpful links and resources for game jams and game development:

We decided to go for looping 2D jump and run levels where you have to complete a loop in a given time. The really nice thing about this is that even the enemies and all objects get looped and even their state. That means if you kill enemies in your first round you will be faster and by that gain more points because you get a multiplier that is based on your velocity.

Ever wondered what happens when a samurai let down their master and performs harakiri? Find out!

Since the game jam is now done, i wanted to ask everyone if they used tools which were useful and which you could recommend
I made a github page to list all those tools here: https://github.com/wujood/awesome-gamejam
You can bookmark this page for your next game jam in case you need tools: https://wujood.github.io/awesome-gamejam/
My mission seems to be to stream on twitch and play your games! :robot: My room feels empty right now... but it is getting better.

Am i the only one that thinks that this feed has already a looooot of gems in it? Looks like a very productive LDJAM 48!
Keep it up!
You know that your puzzle game is too hard when you can't solve it blindfolded yourself. I can't solve it blindfolded... Work in progress!

Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you about my awesome list that has lots of tools for game development on it. Have a look at it and let me know if there is something you want to see on this list!

Did my web and windows build without any warnings or errors!

I just published D.N.N. Engineer :robot: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/d-n-n-engineer

It's a small puzzle game about deep neural networks. Don't worry, it is not acutally about solving deep neural network problems. I was planning to make it about acutal neural networks, but that turned out to be waaaaay too hard. So now the game is only themed around neural networks. Hope you enjoy!

Also i will stream on twitch for the first time. I have thought about streaming ldjam game reviews for years now and i think this time i will finally do it! Looking forward to play your games on stream later tonight ( ... "tonight" in europe )!

I just wanted to say thanks for all the nice feedback i got from you guys! Also i broke the 20 required ratings over night OMG  So happy!
I love this community so much ! I streamed for the first time in three years to play & rate your game and the twitch chat was super nice, too  Had a lot of fun! I hope this stays the same, but i guess it's in the nature of this community to be constructive and nice :v:
