Blast off for "rocket ship"
Good luck to all last-minute compo jammers out there! You can do it!
I'm done. Does not quite work as intended most of the time...

Thanks to everyone who voted and commented on my project!
I just released an updated version of it that I've been working on since the compo ended: https://zirrrus.itch.io/rocket-ship

I really could have used a little extra time...a few days maybe?
Cheers to all the jammers still working on their games! You can do it!

So much more I could have done, but I'm out of time. Hope you enjoy it. It's not much of a game...more of a thing you watch spiral out of control - eventually(the beginning is often pretty slow). https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/tuftles
Just fixed an issue with how things were displayed, now the game is ready to be played.
It's a combination of a first person shooter and a 2D platformer. Sadly screenshots don't really show much(see below - yes, that's a screenshot) so go and play it! There's a hassle-free web version available :)

The concept was very interesting to me and the execution worked surprisingly well(barring some rather annoying issues involving angles and resolutions/scaling), but I don't think it really has the potential to be a 'proper game'.
I hope you have some fun with it regardless. Cheers!

The best of luck to anyone in the final stretches, you can do it!
