Over the past week I’ve seen the flurry of both “I’m in!” posts, and those making light of them while also serving to state the exact same thing.

Up until five minutes ago I wasn’t going to participate. I’ve got other things to do, such as earning money, and my girlfriend (a-wink wink). But as I was clearing yet another couple of hundred LD posts from my Google Reader, a thought struck me across my delicate face. Why AREN’T I participating?

I couldn’t come up with a good reason. So, here I am. I’m probably going to fail. But hey, it’s going to be fun.

I have 4 sprites drawn and the player character moves.

Well, I failed at Ludum Dare this time around. Unfortunately priorities like work and DOTA2 took over. Whoops.

Anyway, I still want to experience everything you all have made. Being the fool I am I’ve decided to film my saddening attempts at playing your games.

Due to having to work, I’ve made the conscious decision to only attempt the jam this LD. Whenever I participate in a game jam I don’t organize my time well and go over my head in regards to the game, so it never gets properly finished.

Hopefully that changes now.
