First of all, thanks everyone for the amazing reception :) I decided to make a post-compo extended version of my entry, Nuclear Blaze. I hope to release it within the upcoming weekend. Here are a few "work in progress" screenshots of this update :)

I started making Youtube videos less than a year ago, they cover Lua & Löve game development and try to teach people who have never programmed before how to make games. We are almost at the end, waiting for the results, and I just want to really thank this wonderful community and those who took their time to play my game Lord Of The Flies and guide my little flies out of the poo!! :v: . To those: I am really thankful for your feedback, I learned a lot and was very inspired to improve my game and work a bit more on it (although I decided to leave the original version untouched, as a testimony of what I could do in that limited time).
Regardless of what happens, we DID IT! We finished a game in very little time, we did LD 48!!!
The quality of so many of the games I played throughout the jam is entirely amazing, it made me really want to improve at this.
This was my first ludum dare, hopefully the start of many more, and I hope you share the same excitement and inspiration.

Our game Shrink and Destroy features Speedrun Scoreboards and has already attracted some dedicated people who have made some pretty sick playthrough times!
Even we developers cannot beat them anymore, but we'd like to see if you can!
As a bonus we also made a little fix for our game for speedrunners: Press Shift + S in title screen to activate speedrun mode. It simply disables the cutscenes so you can concentrate to your runs without interruptions :sunglasses:
As you can see, a playthrough won't take more than one and a half minute... If you're fast enough :wink:

This is my seventh entry, fifth time together with my friend who does the graphics. Ludum Dare is always a good opportunity to meet and create something fun together! We are quite proud of both the movement and graphics in this one!
Submit your score to the leaderboard! I doubt anyone will beat the current highscore :P I'm nowhere near, but you're welcome to try!
Don't worry if you cant manage such insane scores - there's competition on the lower end of the leaderboard too!

We really need a hand here (hand pictured above). Just two more ratings for our game to get a final score.
We built this game using our own custom engine, as we always do. Hand-crafted some art and animations, wrote a great soundtrack, polished non-stop arcade gameplay for your enjoyment on two platforms - Mac and Windows. Now, we need some players!
