Hi, crabs! Today's blog is about our art and visual stuff
Our artists have already created some examples of final game view!

Hope you like it! See you in next blog posts! :v:
We're on a road trip to a convention... But that doesn't prevent us from participating in the LD53!!!

Some placeholder models and materials to get an idea of scale and to test the core mechanics with. We are making a potion delivery service that makes custom made potions for each customer. Stay tuned for what comes next! :D
First prototype (testing some limits)

We begin to introduce you to Alpivery and start with main character. It's a Barry. He is deliverer and suddenly ice-man.
Wish him good luck❤️

Conveyor Belt building done! There's automatic alignment or you can choose any rotation.

For my sanity, I did not create corner meshes, instead I just use the same mesh and rotate it. The texture arrow shows the direction that segment rolls to.

Please tell me how you feel after playing! Thank you very much!

Hi there, I am making good progress on my FPS horror game set in a dark forest. I have just finished the attack ability of my player. Check it out.

Some elements to furnish the decor...
It's time to move on to the level design (I'm really struggling with this part)

I even made a little video:
Work in progress of my game "George & Deliverance"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmbedM0d_P4
I worked first in the mechanics, added some graphics with aseprite, sound with chiptone and a tune with jeskola buzz.
Eventually the game will be about Saint George entrusted by god to deliver kittens to several places in the city. This year just tried to keep it simple.
Struggled a lot with my impulses to add weird stuff, that can come later. On the last stretch the challenge is to embelish the graphics, hopefully include a title screen and give the originality it trully deserves. First wanted to ensure that the mechanics work as it should.
Some things I've learned from past jams: Did it on a browser page and playable on cellphones. All you lazy fellows don't have any excuses ;)
Some retro references: Rally-X, Road Fighter and Onytanko Town. Lots of fun, thinking to add various special events.
I hope you're having as much fun as I do. Best of lucks!
didn't make that much progress on the first day. i'm counting on finishing all the graphical elements asap and then focusing on the gameplay aspect. i came up with the end of a story yesterday before falling asleep so that's good!

Hey fellow game devs!
We're excited to share our game jam entry. Given the theme of "Delivery," we decided to create a fast-paced car-rescue game set in a zombie apocalypse.
In our game, players navigate a car through a city overrun by zombies to pick up civilians and deliver them to safe zones. Players must manage their fuel and strategically plan routes to avoid getting stranded.
We've been working around the clock during the game jam, and we're proud of what we've accomplished so far. Key features the game will have: - Fuel management - Car upgrades for plowing through zombies and improving performance - Immersive post-apocalyptic cityscape - Different cars - Car damage and player concussion preventing him from driving for 2 seconds if he rams a wall
We can't wait to see how our game is received by the game jam community. Stay tuned for updates, and good luck to all fellow participants!
Happy jamming!
