"Unstable" is when something or someone can fall, topple over. Example: "The chair is unstable".

I know I'm new to Ludum Dare and such... but I found this topic very poop. :v Hope I wasn't the only one.

It may only be a few minutes into the jam, but I have absolutely NO idea of what I'm going to make. I can't think of anything other than physics related games, and guess who doesn't know how to do physics in GameMaker!

I'm beginner ,this well be my first game jam, and the first game that that I make not following a tutorial so hopefully I can make something decent. good luck to all

Actually completed LD48 with a published game - my first completed game in almost a decade of competing in various Jams. Hoping to repeat that again - namely, by keeping my main mechanics and idea simple!

This month, I actually prepped by mostly just relaxing the last week. Trying to avoid being burnt-out before the jam even starts.

For that UNSTABLE theme, we, at Quasar Shrine, will do our best ! Good luck !

Well shit... that was one of the themes I hated. Only idea I had was physics balancing game as well...

Recently faced a couple rejections in my life due to "not being stable enough". Time to channel that into a game, I guess...

It can be everything. Except rocks, those look pretty stable to me!

Another Ludum Dare. Another boring-ass theme I hate getting voted in over some really cool evocative ones. Siiiigh. At least I have the beginnings of an idea for this one.

Unstable can also be an unstable relationship, an unstable nuclear reactor, an unstable nation. So much other than physics.

Theme: Unstable

Concept: You are a miner in a cave, the roof of the cave is unstable. Over the course of 5 minutes, as the minutes go by, the chances of it collapsing grow greater and greater. You have to mine as much gold as you can. You can either play it safe by taking a little gold and exiting quickly, or you can try to maximise profit by staying in the mine longer, but you might die if the cave collapses on you!
