I was looking for the theme. Apparently they somehow mixed up the theme with my latest code review!
Sorry about the Dad joke! G'luck all!
Obligatory I'm in post, even though I'm late.
Tools:
Schedule's going to be interrupted, but it'll be good to see if I can get something done.
Good luck everyone!
I'll be streaming my development on twitch.tv/o8pcgames if anyone wants to join!

I think I got something kinda weird and not about falling towers. I just had to kinda stretch the dictionary definition a bit. And it's overly ambitious, which is terrible when you have 72 hours
And I have to write lots of horse jokes or die trying

Created some scripts on my live stream to use as examples for doing menus and options systems! If you're using unity! I Recommend checking them out so you can add a pause menu and settings/options to your game for better accessibility.
The source from the project is located here: https://github.com/Snowdrama/SimpleUnityScripts
So I guess a game that crashes a lot will be on-theme?
Theme seems fun. Not my preference but I think there's a lot of possibilties. Not going to start working on anything until tomorrow so going to use tonight to ponder on some ideas and see what leaps out at me.

This is my first game jam, so this is exciting! I'm gunna be streaming my progress on twitch at

I have a rather elaborate framing device in mind, and I'm thinking I might want to place a puzzle game inside it.
But right now I'm thinking of making a programming puzzle game. In which case, it will be the third programming puzzle game I've made for a jam game. Which makes me feel like I've gotta make sure it's better than the other two!
Lots of work to do, lots of thinking on the personal side, but do I have the guts to try LD this time? Dunno!
Will I try? BOY, OH YES! :eyes:
Still deciding on Phaser or HaxeFlixel. Or something else.
But, well, "unstable" is a pretty fitting theme for the moment. :disappointed:
Maybe I'll put some of that front-end knowledge gained in the last 3 years and make a game in the form of a broken site? Who knows?
GL, HF Y'all!
mmmmmm I roll to seduce the dragon
You're a guy fighting zombies. As you attack or get hurt, you get angrier (emotionally unstable), which changes how you function.
Gameplay is going to be 3D hack and slash. I'm comfortable enough with 3D stuff now to do this.
