First time in LD.
So excited.
Tools: GameMakerStudio and my weird brain.
First LD I’m participating! 😀
Engine: GameMaker Studio
Art: Paint.NET or GameMaker Studio
Music: Musescore or Bosca Ceoil
I’m very excited for this! It’s the first time ever I take part in this competition and I do not have any expectations on wheter I’ll be able to finish a game or not! Probably streaming this whole competition at this link!
Engine: Unity 5.3.1
IDE: probably Visual Studio, but who really knows!
Visuals: Photoshop
Sound: Bfxr
Music: Garage Band if the time allows me to!
It’s Ludum Dare again and how can you not partecipate?
Last time I went solo and full Processing with satisfactory results. Feeling like you can do everything on your own is great, but this time I will team up with a good friend of mine. Hopefully it will lead
to a more relaxed development. Anyway, these might be our tools:
Engine = Unity 5 and thus C# as language
Audio = Reaper
Graphics = probably Illustrator + Photoshop
Workspace = Dropbox – Skype/Hangouts
I recon you do not need much more than that, but we’ll see what happens. A lot depends on what we decide to actually do.
Well, good luck to y’all! Looking forward to see what people come up with this time.
This will be my fourth LD. I’m currently marathon training, and my long runs are scheduled for weekends. So I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to actively work on the game. At least I’ll have a large chunk of time while running to think about it!
Because of the time restriction, I’ll be sticking with Pico-8 for my development tools. It’s the easiest way to get something up and running for me.
Want to bounce things around this LudumDare?
Javascript HTML5 cross platform game engine with gamepad support

I’m gonna make a game this time again
Engine: idk lmao
Audio: idk maybe farting into the mic
Graphics: GIMP or Tux Paint
IDE: Atom
I look forward to participating with you!
Unity 5 C # – Engine
Inkscape – Art
Sound – bought reservatorio
I post silly .gifs of gamedev and love seeing others do it so let’s follow each other on the Twitters: @jacobpeltola
(Stuff like this)
Looking into doing something very simple with Mobile AR.
Engine: probably Unity3D/C#
Art: Aseprite and or Photoshop
Audio: FL Studio or beatboxing into microphone
IDE: Visual Studio is love Visual Studio is life
It’s been a while since I’ve done a LD.
Players: myself (programming) and another (art)
Engine: gonna try Phaser, if not then I’ll switch to my homeland of Love2D
I’ll probably throw some tweets up at @Lyzzi_Lightyear as I sort through ideas and frustrations!
Good day, I’m Michael Krutzler and this is my first Ludum Dare. I’m nothing special; Just an old dude with too much time on his hands. I began creating video games as a hobby about three-and-a-half years ago and have had some success in actually completing projects and forcing the grandkids to play them. As my skills grew, so too did my ambitions and I now find myself spending uncountable hours laboring away on esoteric strategy titles the family could not be less interested in.
I have decided to throw myself face-first into the LD Compo in the hopes of recapturing the rush of making small, digital toys in a short time frame. While I don’t actually expect to be able to cross the finish line this first time out (I’ve fussed over a particle system for more than 48 hours! 😉 ), I am looking forward to the challenge of trying.
May fortune favor the foolish!
My friend and I will be busy this weekend. This will be our first game jam!
. Unity OR Love2d for the fun
. Aseprite for pixels
. ChipTone for the lack of a sound person ^^
Wish us luck!
This weekend, my sister and I are gonna take participate in the Ludum Dare! ^0^
I would do the programming work, and my sister would make the arts, and we are going to do the game design together~
The tools we plan to use include visual studio,cocos2d game engine, photoshop, inkscape, garage band and etc.
Cuz this is our first time to get in LD, we are both very excited and looking forward to it indeed!
Hope all of the LDers including my sister and me would enjoy this game carnival!
I’ve joined 2 MiniLDs before but this will be my first proper ludum dare
I’m a bit disappointed by the no rating bit, but I’m still very exited to participate!
My only hope is to get as much feedback as possible, and have many people play and enjoy my game ^^
it’s going to be hard considering the number of participants!
So for anyone reading this, let’s make a deal, if you play mine I’ll play yours 😉
Last MiniLD I got deserted by my teammates, so I’m going solo this time. once burned, twice shy!
I’ll be using these tools as needed:
– Unity 3D
– Blender
– Photoshop/Illustrator
– sfxr
– LMMS (no music skill though XD)
– Audacity (for small tweaks / voice recording)
I have 20+ years of experience as a composer and electronic music producer. I also do sound design. If you need amazing music and sound effects for your LD game, I’m your guy!
Here’s my portfolio of the previous games I’ve worked in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbN82UQep7I

Good Chance for all letthe best win!
I’m in – this is my first proper LD alone, joining for the jam after a few weeks of pre-deploy crunch at work and straight after an actual friday-night deploy. Wheeee.
I’ll play with C++ and SFML, make my chunky horrible pixelart in aesprite and get sounds through bfxr probably, for a game featuring flowers in some way.
Hey guys! Just another good old im in post.
12 yo dev here, participating for the first time this weekend, wish me luck.
Also wanted to share my asset, currently published on the AS for free (unity).
Its a 2D controller for sidescrollers. Since im on mobile, i dont have the links, but you can simply search for “Advanced 2D Controller”

It’s my first time but I’m in for the Compo! Computer’s had major overheating problems, but let’s hope it survives through to the weekend
I’ll be using:
That’s pretty much all my potato PC can handle with only two functioning fans, but hopefully it’ll be enough to get me through my first time ^^.
