I see lots of games I want to try out when I'm not actually able to play them! I wish there was an easy way to get back to games I see, besides remembering usernames. Anybody else feel similarly, or should I just stop browsing this website while I'm at work?
Summer at the bottom.

I started by trying to find ideas that would match the theme. As one does. I decided I did not want to make a game like I was expecting most of the others to be. So I was pretty happy when the idea of making a "currency conversion simulator" came to my mind.
So I started creating a quick UI concept:
After I finished the concept I went into Unity trying to create the UI. After some time of trying to make it responsive and not getting it to work, I decided to take this opportunity to try and learn to use Javascript better. So I went to create the UI in HTML and CSS.
The problem was, that I had not finished the whole UI. There was one thing missing. The graph. I started looking around on the Internet for free templates I could use to make the graphs I wanted. I found Chart.js and tried to put the graphs into my design. And that was how I wasted the day I only had half of, due to a family meetup. That was the second day. Having to go to school on the third day and coming home at six o'clock weren't the best conditions to finish the game I intended it to be. So I worked late into the night replacing the charts with lists, making all the calculations for new conversion rates, adding the ability to set how much money to transfer, changing the weeks from a time-based event to a player controlled one and some more little things.
Thx for reading this!

the game is a game that I could not do everything I wanted because I was alone in the project, but I did the best I could in the time I had, I hope you like it
The controls and goal are in the game menu, I count on your vote :)

If you'd like to check out the game I and my friend @limejuice123 made over the weekend, you can do so here.

You can share your games in the comment of this post, I'll take some time to play and rate them, and leave my feedback

Hey! Here's my latest gameplay video

I was just about to record a goofy sketch to encourage to try and rate my game, when a colleague suddenly turned up. Although the game is SUPPOSED to be action oriented, actually playing PvP with friends, especially friends who come around to check out and ask about my game... well. I think there's a nice balance to it after all. Unsurprisingly I feel at home in here. We can chat, we can almost fly (all the while typing command after command) and when we're tired of doing nothing, we still get to gun each other down : P

Remember to bring a friend if you drop by. Or try playing at even hours on the dot (12, 14, 16, ...) to improve match-making.
Come challenge the devil in his own house ! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/in-the-devils-house

I wanted to make a castlevania style game for a while now, I'm glad I finally did it :) I hope you enjoy it, now I'll take time to play all your awesome games !

LudumDare 44 was our 6th time competing which helped us out in our decision making process for features in the game to the point we managed to add everything we wanted except...we forgot to playtest! lol We got so caught up in adding things we made the rookie mistake of not playing the game to ensure it was winnable and fun. :/
Turns out the original jam version can be beaten but it is very unfair so we worked out a quick post-jam version to remedy some of the issues and make it more compatible with WebGL. There's still more to fix but that will come with time. Still, could've not done it without the support of my team and the community.
Looking forward to playing and rating your games! Send me a link if your game has Windows or HTML versions and I'll give a go. :)

Well, good things always come to an end. 14 LDs in a row, and now I miss one. Good job everyone else, and good luck in the ratings.
Hopefully this doesn't start another kind of streak.
At least I got to make the keynote.
So long, and see you in LD 45 hopefully.
