I know that if I want ratings I need to play other games but frankly I haven't had time so if anyone wants to help me get to twenty I would appreciate it but don't prioritize me. I didn't exactly earn the ratings . anyway here's my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/spin-attack

Hey ! I'll have a few hours tonight, I want some games to play and rate, I'll try to give you as much feedback as I can !

You happen to be stuck on a hostile radioactive planet full of unpleasant loops. Your only hope is your little home hut and the fruit know to humankind as Loop Berries.
Collect berries. Take them home. Mix them, eat them. Dangers: Radiation, Zombies, dangerous mixing.

I've been saying for days now that I would release a list of what I think are the best games of Ludum Dare 47. However, after rating 99 games I have about 40 favorites! I think I'll skip that and do something else...
Because of the below reasons, I will be doing something different!
Because of the above reasons, when the results are in tomorrow I'll draw something for each game that won a category! (Overall, Theme, Graphics, etc)
It was quite frustrating that we couldn't fully finish the idea, so we spend some days finishing what we thought of during the Jam

As the Jam reaching its end I'm very happy to share the latest update we made to our game:
Sounds and music
Mouse input support
Added the theme-complying feature that we couldn't make during the Jam
And a lot more!

Please come play our game and share your thought!
...But I'm secretly happy that LD results are almost here.

Hey there!
New version is technically available. If you did not play it before I recommend it you right now. Receiving all feedbacks worked for me, thank you all!
Post LudumDare Version: https://eayyildiz.itch.io/loopsie-pld
LudumDare Page: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/loopsie
Let's get to the point 'what is new in Loopsie'.
I finally solve the camera rotation problem when Loopsie stuck in the loop. And, I make the stucked player situation more obvious that you can say "Omg I stucked!" No more confussion.
Finally I added some background music from: Manuel F. Graf, www.manuelgraf.com
Good luck, don't get stuck.

Hi all (again) PICO-8 users and enthusiasts!
Want to upload your game to itch.io, but those huge gray borders are haunting you? Here is my solution!
Fabulous Guide to PICO-8 on itch.io
And here you have an example of my Ludum Dare 47 entry on itch.io: Not Enough
On the guide you can also see a comparison between a standard upload and my fabulous guide upload on itch.io.
I hope it will help you in making your PICO-8 look cooler on your itch.io page. The steps are very easy and well explained, let me know if there is something you don't understand or other suggestions or whatever!
Also, if you have time I will really aprpeciate if you play my entry for this Ludum Dare!
I've enough (lol) ratings but some more are always welcomed if you have time.
I always play back games of those who rated my entry, so it's also a nice way to have some more ratings =) Be sure to leave a comment to the game after playing, so I know you did it!
I have some free time, so feel free to send your games in the comments! I will play and rate it, especially if you still don't have 20 ratings.
Also, I would be happy if you play and rate my game called Cycle Breakdown: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/cycle-breakdown
Hello!
I have been very busy lately, terribly so, so I never got to announce the completion of Magmania, the LD47 entry Cameron and myself made and very successfully, I believe. It's got a lot of potential for expansion, and we'd like to do it should we get the time. I intend to both write a post-mortem this weekend and eventually make a video as part of my 3 part video series I'm going to be working on about the Ludum Dare. So stay tuned for all of that, hurray!
But now to the interesting stuff. I always love the old Dare to Play stuff, so I'm going to be streaming your entries in about an hour, for an hour or two. I might get through only half a dozen games or so, but each one will get a decent bit of feedback, so sign up now! I'll announce on the LDJam Discord when we're going!
Here's the form for you to add your game: https://forms.gle/6K8AB1f4RFynQeB39
And my stream: https://www.twitch.tv/polyrogue_
You enter the priority queue if you rate and leave some feedback on Magmania!
That's it then. Hope to see you there!

Yeah, I know, it's a bit late to be making updates, but this is what happens when you have the attention span of a flea :P
Anyway, this update adds a few extra graphics touches: no more black bar at the top of the screen, screen shake at one specific point in the final section, and an updated logo:

Once the rating period ends, I have one final update planned to make the final section a bit deeper and more strategic, and then I'll start thinking about whether to try expanding this out into a full game. For now, though, play the jam version here and let me know what you think! All feedback is welcome, and I will review your game in return.

The trail to Dude Ranch is a dusty one, paved with fallen dude designs that didn't make the cut. As you can imagine, the process of making a horse man (and vice versa) yielded some frightening results which didn't quite fit the vision of Dude Ranch. The beauty of a Jam is that all of these horrifying failures are just part of the process. Eventually you find that dude and you're like, "dude..." that's the one.

Thank y'all so much for sharing another awesome Jam experience with the Keyboard Cowboys, as with every LD we've played some amazing entries met some amazing devs and are super grateful for all of the feedback from the community. If you still want to check out what this group of dudes wrangled together you can follow this link to Dude Ranch. Keep playing and rating those games in the danger zone!
Much love and a hardy "Yeehaw" from the Keyboard Cowboys! :pointright: :cowboy: :pointright:
Hi all,
I promised to do a blogpost and I forgot. So here we are. Late and enlightening people on the name of the game:
Lupins is a kind of flower species!
You can find out more about who they are as a nonhuman being in our weird conversational cosmic trip.
Along for the ride, you have two more cosmic entities trapped in neverending cycles of overthinking. It all might make sense in the end, I promise?

I loved this one, please try it: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/100-days-until
