A progress update on my JAM submission. Enjoy!!

Just uploaded my game 'The Summoner Stone' to itch.io
Here is a video of some of the game play

Are we allowed to make any adjustments to the game and then upload again before the judging is over?
One player thought the game was a bit hard so if I could make it a bit easier. I could do that with some tweaking. Another had a good idea about changing the time between casting fireballs. Lastly, I didn't have time to put in the final boss battle.
Are any of those things allowed? If not I'll wait till the judging is over and may adjust them then.
Some of the games I have played have been so very very good. From the simple 2D card game to the most complex 3D game I have seen so many good games.
Thank you all for an enjoyable time. I am sure I will see many more games that display such amazing talent.
I am going to try the Bullet Hell Jam next. IT oughta be a blast

I couldn't believe it when I saw this...

I don't use Godot, but, if I was going to use a flexible, easy to use, FOSS engine that is on the rise and has the support of many great folks, Godot would be it!!
Brackeys is for many of us our introduction into Game Development and he has been, and continues to be the Gold Standard for Game Dev Tutorials. I look forward to his always insightful and instructive videos.

I'm looking forward to LD 56. Hopefully I will smarter, faster, and more in line with what the players want.
Going to try my hand at making lots and lots of... https://itch.io/jam/bullet-hell-v
See you next time!!!

Can't wait!!!

Every time I do this I strain my mouse finger and have to use my left index finger to pick my nose...
Some Community Manager went scorched earth and is deleting posts, blocking Titanium supporters. The Community Manager is one handedly killing Godot.
Do a search on YouTube for "Godot Community Manager', as the story is growing exponentially.
I guess Asmongold has a pretty good take on this

There were actually a couple of good ones in this round...

Hopefully we have a decent theme this round...

Something simple and general enough to where you don't feel trapped by the theme...

We should be seeing that pretty quick I would imagine...
This is from LD56

There are some very interesting themes this time around. Hopefully one of them make the cut. I saw a lot of 'Gambling' and 'Card' type themes this time. That might be interesting.
Also, every Jam I ask this, so why mess with tradition. Is there a way to get the entire slaughter list to download? There are many good ideas in the list and they could be a real inspiration for game development later on.

I think 'Doors' was one of mine. Maybe. Can't remember.

Out of Order is my favorite. Excellent for puzzle games. Simple yet could be extremely interesting
I will say that this round was much better than the last round... Well... Except for the whole 'Folklore' thing...

Hopefully I won't have to 'Wave' goodbye to the 'Doors' simply because they were 'Out of Order'.
I am really hoping for Out of Order to write a nice puzzle game. Single Screen, High Score kind of thing.
