Ludum Dare 54

The Carver

My game is finally finished. It's my first time at Ludum Dare (I only participated in Brackey's Jam before). It was especially a challenge for me, because I knew I would be busy on Sunday. So I actually had only 24 hours to make the game. And I'm very happy with the result! It's also probably my last project in Unity and I'm planning on swithing to Godot now.

Enjoy!

Little bug fixes

Good post-jam morning! I've fixed a bug in my game and finally researched Unity WebGL build settings, so for the first time a game I made for a jam looks decent...

I’m very proud, it’s the first time I’ve scored this high in a jam and even it two categories!

Defeat

I'm really unsatisfied with this jam. I think the theme was really bad, as in boring and too unspecific. I didn't enjoy making the game and I've made a fatal mistake, because I don't have a proper gameplay loop (who would've thought). I'll try to squeeze at least something, but honestly I'm ashamed to publish this. Przechwytywanie.PNG

Finished!

Isaac is fast asleep and so I'm gonna be in a second . That was a rough jam! I've had my moments of despair, but here I am, with a game. I've wasted around 6 hours on the first day in a state of pure chaos. A bit sad I couldn't add music again. And after 40 hours I suddenly got and idea how to fix everything and add even a little bit of gameplay.

Tomorrow I'll probably set up a nice itch page and take care of some details. I also didn't submit my homework because of this jam :face_palm:.

Good luck! Check out my game if you'd like: Itch.io
