Ludum Dare 54

Journey

phew, it was a short but exciting journey to make a game in such a short time and most of the songs, I made in practically 2 days. I hope to participate in new competitions and I wish everyone good luck in voting

play our game, it was a journey to do it even though it was in such a short time. Even one song that wasn't used in the game, I made before the ludum dare programming, I was eager to start making them, the others I made in 3 days. We didn't expect people to like it so much, we even thought that if at least one person played it, we would be happy. In the future we are thinking about making it a complete game, I myself have already had new ideas for the continuity of the story and I will keep the scheme of leaving it open ended, I like the reader/player to read and interpret what they are playing, well, that's it. Snow rose post-jam update

snow rose.png

Good morning everyone, just congratulating everyone who participated in the jam, I saw a lot of potential out there. I wanted to thank the people who played our game, we didn't expect so many people to play and like it, we intend to make it a complete game, I already have most of the story things in my head and I started making new songs.

you can play the game here: https://shiivers.itch.io/snow-rose

The process:

My friend had invited me to participate in this jam, I had never participated before, so I thought ''why not?'' a week before the jam started, I had already made a song for the game, it didn't take long for me to think about what the game would cover and the first thing that came to mind was a robot that disassembled. The first day that started, I was kind of bad and tired from having to work on other things, but I still persisted in starting to make new songs on the first day. I have to say it was a crazy thing to do one song after another, but it was worth it. If you want to stay tuned (as there is no specific place about it yet), you can add me on discord, yellowrain.

This ludum dare was very chaotic, more chaotic than the previous one and rushed, but even though the game was simple, I really enjoyed working on it, although as always I make more songs than necessary because I'm excited and they don't end being used. I also want to highlight to people, even if your game isn't much, you can improve it in the future, the important thing is to participate and show that you did something, I wanted to thank everyone in my group for participating in this ludum dare. but that's all I wanted to say, I'm not one to write long texts (despite being a writer), good luck to everyone with your games
