Hello! I'm new here and this will be my first game jam :) I was wondering if using a addon like Dialogic or dialogue manager is allowed on the Jam, since the rules said that any tool or base code are okay. Or this have to be coded from scratch? I'm a little bit slow so this would be such a time saving.

There was so much variation of the theme "grow" [to grow, growing, let it grow, ungrow, grow up, etc) (tbh I even had suggested one XD) I found it really funny XD

Several people have been experiencing a bug with my jumpstate where the jump does not happen when they press space (yet the animation plays).

I've made a bunch of tweaks and changes in how the state works to handle this problem that is driving me crazy ;-;

But I've never experienced this bug myself in neither of my machines, so I can't playtest the fix properly. Could you play some of my lil' game and tell me if you're having problems to input the jump?
