This is my third Ludum Dare that I have participated in and I think I created better game than the other two this time. I am happy with the game and hopefully other people can enjoy the game.

What went right?
I feel like I created what I wanted to make from the very beginning. A simple competitive game that anyone could pick up and play without huge learning curve. I also didn't want it to be super competitive but a relaxed competitive.
I was able to create a ~~simple~~ random AI that you can play against with friends or by yourself, since it's a multiplayer game. The AI was also very difficult, which could be a flaw since they are hard to play against.
Finally I liked the art that I created for the game, while it was simple pixel art with the time and my skills on art I was satisfied.
What went wrong?
The main thing that I didn't like was the lack of indicators that I had through the game play. I only gave players a sound for when another spaceship was destroyed and I would have liked a visual indicator like an explosion or particles.
Another indicator that I would have like would have been a round indicator. While serving no purpose other then just aesthetics it would have been nice to know how many rounds that game has lasted.
The music and the sound, while I am glad I was able to create some I was not proud of how they sounded and that I implemented them. The music doesn't fit the theme at all, and the spaceship destruction sound doesn't make any sense to what a spaceship would sound like. I felt like I needed to add some sound because it makes a game better, but if the sound isn't good to begin with, does it add to the game? In my opinion no, it does not.
Finally the AI, while I was happy I created it there was one small detail that I didn't like. When all the players where killed and only AI where left in the round it would be anywhere from a couple of seconds for the round to end or a couple of minutes. I wish I would have sped up the game or did something to make the AI playing by themselves shorter so that the players could play the game and not watch.
Conclusion / Morale of Game Jams
I am proud of what I was able to create, I just wish I had more time to make my creation better
