I'm in!

Hello! I've "participated" a few times, never submitted a game (actually, I've never posted here either!), but it's always fun to think about game ideas and try to make something in time :)

My goal in this one is not very ambitious, I mean I'll try to finish my game this time but I'm just aiming to rescue back the thrill I've used to have for making games, and have a lot of fun in the process.

I'll be using Unity (C#), maybe aseprite or krita for graphics, and I have no clue about sound/music. I'm going for Compo.

I also wish all of you the best of luck and I'm really glad we have this kind of event! Cheers!

Finally finished a compo!

Hey all!

It wasn't easy at all but I managed to publish an entry for Compo for the first time! I've joined some past LDs (mostly quietly), but never got to "ship" anything until today!

Here's a screenshot of my entry, Doomsday Cult:

It's about stalling a game of cards in order to earn resources and bargain with a cosmic horror for a less tragic end of the world. It's quite a simple game.

I hope you all had fun during this event, and I look forward to play every entry in the next few days! Cheers!

Hey everyone, first off good luck to each and everyone of you, have a great jam!

I'm going Compo, with my usual stack: - Unity - Aseprite - FL Studio - Spritemancer / Pixel Composer - Licht (a general-purpose library for Unity)

You may think those strange machines are the wrong tool for the job to make your game, but you might be surprised when they clear a path to your delivery, even when you leave something behind like that feature you wanted so bad. The typical brain fog signals on the horizon, and it spreads, giving you a very limited visibility. Remember to take care of your health bar, which is more than a health bar, so you can salvage your game, or maybe even ascend to glory. You don't need cartography to find shelter from the fatigue, just sleep well and watch out for the parasites!

And remember, start small!

(And uh, every input does two things or something)

Have fun, y'all!

Hey, I'm in!

Good luck to y'all! Pretty interesting themes this time round

I still use Unity on a daily basis, but I figured out this would be a super cool learning opportunity and I've been playing around with Godot for a few days, so, I guess, why not?

This time I'll be using: - Godot (engine) - Aseprite (visuals) - FL Studio (audio) - Spritemancer / Pixel Composer (for particles and such)

I'll try to go as simple as I can (which is something I'm not known for so let's see what happens)

Happy jamming!
