Okay, so it wasn’t that bad, and it didn’t really detour people from playing.
But still, for whatever reason I felt like I HAD to kill that bug.
Things are finally back on track!
I was thinking back to a couple old products and unpurused projects of mine.
I realized that in a way these defined more of who I am as a game designer than all of my released projects do.
I propose that on January 1st, everyone posts an old prototype or unpursued projects of theirs to help usher in a brand new year of game development!
As I’m writing this, we’re still unsure of our results.
I love each and every one of you. You’re amazing.
Thank you all for the kind words on Duck, Jump, Die!
This was important to me, because for the past few months I’ve thought of myself as going nowhere.
And now, as destiny would have it, me and Brad have began development on a mobile version of Duck, Jump, Die!
Thank you.
Really.
I decided that I'm going to try to complete a game for Ludum Dare 43 this time around. I have no clue what I'm going to be doing for a game but I'll likely be using Game Maker Studio for the ease of creation once again and creating another timelapse of the event. I haven't done a Ludum Dare since we were still running with the legacy website so I'm pretty excited to see how it goes this time around.
I'll likely be doing game assets myself as well as the programming and design so I don't expect that the art or music is going to be anything special. Then again if there's any artists or musicians out there that would like to team with someone that's done a fair share of game jams (5 Ludum Dares and 5 various Jams) then I'd be more than open to the idea, just leave a comment down below and we can get in touch.
Wish I had something more interesting to write but I've never been very good at these "I'm In" posts, so I guess I'm just going to leave it at that. For anyone that might be interested in looking at some of the LD's I've done in the past my legacy profile can be found here: http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/bkgh/
Happy game making
