Oh god, we finally made it!

After 3rd attempt at making complex games, we finally realized what shoud be made for Ludum dare. Just kidding, the weekend was pretty busy, so half of out team couldn't participate, we even didn't post anything prior to now, we were unsure if we will make it in time. But look at this. In harshest conditions we finally finished our game in time. It's simple and has some unpolished stuff, but we can be proud of ourselves at least.

It was great expirience, I'm so happy to finally contribute to this jam. But now I'm drained and want to sleep, good night everyone!

A friendly reminder

After some rest and some time, playing other jam games, it was finally time to garther feedback and fix bugs. And there it is, Lava Cave 1.2. Made goal and mechanics A LOT clearer, also added some benefits for amassing artifacts. Made some hints on UI and added music(we opted out of audio rating, because it's post end time). A few bugs was fixed.

My first week feels about my first Ludum dare.

We already tried participatig with our teem and wasn't able to finish anything worth playing in time before. But we learned some lessons, to cut features, to make easier contept, and finally we did it.

We played other peoples games and these were amazing, it was lovely to see so many people creating such great projects in such time! But without our own game we felt a bit left out and didn't really feel the whole aspect of community around event.

But now, we did happen to finish game in time and there where the best time of Ludum Dare began. It is so fun to watch other people streamig and giving feedback to your game, watch them play other games, rating them, talking in the comments, on streams, we finally became a part of this wonderous community. We already break the minimum to get a score and this was exciting. The game had some rough edges and people justly pointed them out, there was comments about how good some mechanic in game was. It whole communication made me feel like a part of big gamedev community and I liked it!

Thank you for reading through this and come play our game and we will happily play yours(in case we missed it, all games are great, but there is just too many!)

Well, we are in.

After a good sleep on the side of a globe where ld starts in the late night, we discovered the theme of this jam. Not the best thing we hoped for, but we will try and we will have fun.

But seriously, thank you everyone for warm comments, it's very satisfying to see people like some aspects of the game, and they see what you were trying to show with them.

It's our second finished game for Ludum Dare and it's always pleasant to see other people entries and recieve a feedback. We are planning to add something new and polish room and mechanisms generation(actually we put a lot of thought into it, as always we had to cut it all, but now we have time AND will to implement it properly) for the post jam version, so stay tuned.

Also, I am really surprised how people handled the theme, I've seen very creative concepts and really good combinations and as always I am thankfull for being able to try out these unusual gems and for being a part of this community.

Try some bees.

By the way, I really like new(Well, I didn't participate last time, so it's new for me anyway) "Play and rate" feature, very useful.

But enough of that, your queen awaits you!
