Didn't realise LD40 was this weekend until I checked just now. Ah well, guess I'll be going for a simple entry this time.

I'm going to combine RTS/Tower Defense with a Dating Sim, mashing together the apocalypse and romance settings... I might have issues. 😐

Basic concept: keep your people alive long enough for you to 'broker' peace with the villains. The more enemies you kill, the harder your wooing process will be.

My Puzzle Platformer, 'Setting Soul', is done. And you can play it. :grin: For the best effect, play in the dark with headphones. :wink:

Turns out making an RTS is a lot harder then I thought it was going to be. I definitely won't be finished in the next 2 hours, but I should have it done with an extra 24 hours. Ah well. RTS is officially off the menu for LD44 though. :sweat_smile:

Bad news: Mate's got corona so no bachelor party for him. :( Good news: I'm now free for this LD Jam. :)
