it’s my first time here at LD

I’ve never made a game, so that might be a great opportunity to really get into game making.

Technically, I plan on developing it using Java and Swing.

I finally got my game concept, you might know we’re “celebrating” the 70th anniversary of the Operation Overlord, so I came up with the idea of connecting different towns to supply the reinforcements to the front.

Two blue towns connected through railways battle to conquer the red town. The battle takes place on the dirt road between the red and the north blue town.

The more towns you own, the more money is earnt each turn, which increases the number of reinforcements that can be created each turn.

As it’s my first game I don’t think I’ll have time to balance it : there will only be one type of unit, which means that you can almost only win by outnumbering the opponent.

This will also be my first time with AI, should be instructive
