IT IS JUST A BAD VERSION OF LUDUM DARE 30 CONNECTED WORLDS.
thx.
There hasn't been a wallpaper post for a few LDs now.
If you make a wallpaper for Ludum Dare, post it here!

I have some basic physics!!
Time for bed...

There are a lot of video makers and live streamers that play through Ludum Dare game. If you are one, make a comment about yourselves here and post a link to a way to submit games (Google Sheets or something).
Hello, if you are looking for some nice Ludum Dare stats graphs, check out https://ldstats.info.

It is not by me, but I just submitted a pull request to make it support Ludum Dare 43 and users who only have accounts on the new site (before you needed an account on the old site as well).

This will be my 15th LD in a row. This one will be tough since I'll be at a robotics competitions, but I'll probably just end up making a one hour game.
Language and Library: Java with Lib-GDX
Graphics: Paint.NET, Piskel, Inkscape
Music: Probably nothing
SFX: Might use SFXR if I have time or just Audacity.
Good luck everyone!
Well, good things always come to an end. 14 LDs in a row, and now I miss one. Good job everyone else, and good luck in the ratings.
Hopefully this doesn't start another kind of streak.
At least I got to make the keynote.
So long, and see you in LD 45 hopefully.
Here are some analytics from my keynote!
If you haven't seen it, check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdq-IYxhByw

People shared my video over SMS and Whatsapp, that's cool!
Here are the videos my video was recommended on and got clicks from that, I circled some of the funny ones:

Here are the devices people watched it on:

Some people watched it on their TVs and game consoles, that's amazing!

Sad. (No ads though, so it makes sense)

Not bad at all.

Makes sense.
I guess I always thought the time would come. After missing my first LD since 2014 last time due to having a robotics competition the same week and being very tired, I thought it was just a one off. This Saturday I will be having my first mid-term for my hardest course this term, so I don't know if I will be able to make it (since when do they do tests on Saturdays). As well, I have been swamped with school work lately (I am not used to this as it is my first year in university).
Anyway, I'll try to do something after that. Maybe I'll have time to submit something for the jam.
If I'm in, it will be the same stuff as always.

Previously was "Ludum Dare 46 Real Worlds Gathering Thread" but then I remembered about the current situation.
After 14 Ludum Dares in a row, I missed Ludum Dare 44 due to being at a different competition and Ludum Dare 45 due to having a exam the same weekend.
Well, I have an exam during Ludum Dare again, but I am going to try anyway.

Am I dreaming? :D
