First Time Saying… I’m In!
Been watching Ludum Dare for a year, finally have the courage and time to say… I’m In.
I’ll be using:
- An abacus
- A slide rule
- Melon JS game engine
Can’t wait to get started!

Breaking down “Tiny World” I think of three main themes:
Thinking thinking…
I am leaning toward sub atomic particles at the moment. Neutrinos have always been very interesting to me, passing through walls and stuff is kinda cool.

Here is a screen and a link to what I am building. Still a long way to go. You control an atom with your arrow keys. Crash into other particles to break down to a tiny neutrino.

Here is a link to test what I have so far.

Calling it done on my game. Overall… I’m happy. This was a blast, and will also have a blast playing the other games submitted.
Tiny Neutrino
Break down your atom to a neutrino to break travel through walls to the exit. Here are some screens.

I am in! I was excited that I would be able to compete again after not being able to participate in the last LD. But alas, I can’t put in 100% because of The Hobbit. Stupid Hobbitses and his pocketses!
Meeting with friends and family for a get together and the movie will take a lot of “precious” dev time… see what I did there!
Oh well, it will still be a blast no matter what.
Good luck!

My game, How to be a Super Successful Politician, is as near as finished as I can get this weekend. I am a little dissapointed in how it turned out. I didn’t have as much time as I wanted, and motivation was lacking. But still good fun and had a blast being part of LD.
Check it out:

A bit buggy at the moment for some reason but here it is:

It’s been a year or more since my last compo, but this time I am in! I have never use Unity before, strictly always submitted HTML5 games. So this will be a fun learning experience… Or a disaster.
Here is my entry for LD30. Switchboard Connection: Connecting worlds, the old fashioned way! This is my third Ludum Dare entry to date.
This is my first project ever made in Unity. I have always developed in HTML5 and Javascript. There were quite a few ups and downs, but overall the experience was great.
Play as a switchboard operator, connecting calls as they come in. When a slot flashes yellow, pickup a red plug by clicking on it. Then listen to the caller to see what number they want to be connected to. Numbers are plotted on a grid, like battleship. Then pick up another red plug and place it into the caller’s desired slot. When they flash red, you can unplug the call.
Enjoy!
