I’m in!

Hi,

This is my first Ludum Dare!

Tools:

Engine: LÖVE 0.9.1 (love2d). Obvious choice, I’ve used it for maybe 2 years now.

Graphics: Graphics Gale, Gimp, Photoshop

Coding: Notepad++

Audio: Audacity

Libraries: None. I’ll code all I need ;)

The plan is to actually have something done :) The problem with my own projects has always been too large scope. LD will (hopefully) teach me to think small and simple.

I’m in -This time with a Friend!

Hi,

This’ll be my second time joining, this time I’ll make a Jam game with a friend of mine.

Tools we’ll be using:

Löve (Love2d) -An *awesome* 2d game engine

Notepad++

Graphics Gale / Photoshop / Gimp / All of those

Audacity

Some random musical instruments

My last attempt (alone) was, to be honest, pretty pathetic. This time around I want to make something that is actually *fun to play*. Also, since my friend is quite musical, has a good microphone and a selection of musical instruments lieing around his appartment, the game might actually *sound good* too :)

I’m in!

Like last time, I’ll attend to the Jam with two friends (different friends this time around.)

I’ll be using: Löve, Notepad++

The friends will be using: Krita, audiotool, sfxr

This time the main focus will be in the gameplay, like it should. The goal is to deliver something complete and enjoyable for people to play. My last entry had a neat little gimmick, but the polish was off and the game wasn’t that fun to play. But I have learned from my mistakes, and teamed up with some *awesome* artist friends we will succeed this time.

Also, this time I’ll try to make some blog posts on the way, or at least write a post mortem. But I don’t promise anything.

All the best, fellow ludumers. Let’s make some games! ^^
