I’m in… sort of
My husband has been talking about this “Ludum Dare” thing for months now and as I always want to support him in all of his pursuits, I decided that the best way to support is to tag along. But, as I am computer illiterate, making a computer game just isn’t in my skill set. When I overheard my hubby listening to the Ludum Dare Keynote Speaker, I overheard an interesting tidbit that caught my attention. He said something to the effect of “you don’t need to be at your computer to take part in the Ludum Dare… there are things called ‘Board Games’ and people have dedicated their lives to creating pen and paper fictional worlds.” Now, that is something that I can do. So, I’m making a board game and it is going to rock! ![]()
Is anyone else making a board game?

2. SAVE OFTEN
3. Do work in chunks. It’s easier to find bugs that way.
4. Sleep, eat, and drink healthy things. Just going straight through is very rarely worth it.
5. When you find things online, make sure you aren’t using copyrighted things.
6. Take pride in your work. It’s a challenge, and any work (regardless of whether you’ve finished or not) is always the start of something fresh and new.
