We’re in!

Aaand, we’re in!

Team of three so far (possibly 4), getting ready for our first Ludum Dare. We’re all super excited about this and ready to get high on caffeine! We’ll be using Unity 5.3.4, Visual Studio Community 2015, Adobe Photoshop and most likely Audacity for audio. And whiteboards, paper and sticky notes of course.

Can’t wait for the starting gun!

Lessons learned from Second Hand – our Ludum Dare #35 entry

So yeah, I’m seriously late with this postmortem but I hear late is better than never so here it is. If you want to know what we learned while building Second Hand, head on over to Gamasutra to read our Lessons from the Blitz.

LD #35 was Team Rikodu’s first Ludum Dare and it was awesome. In fact, it was what made Team Rikodu what it is today. We liked Second Hand so much that we continued working on it and will be posting it on Greenlight soon.

To wrap up I just wanted to say THANKS to the entire Ludum Dare community! It was great to be a part of this gathering of people who love games and game development. You guys inspired us with all the ideas and gave us energy so THANK YOU.
