I’m definitely in too!

Second time I join!

Tools I’ll use:

  • Programming Language: Java
  • IDE: IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition
  • Libraries: Not sure yet whether I’ll use plain Java AWT or Slick2D
  • Build tools: Maven (and now that slick2d-maven is in the public maven-repo, much better!)
  • Note-taking: A paper notebook (yes, I’ve been told they exist O_O ) and Sublime Text 3
  • Graphics: Paint.NET
  • For building sprite-sheets: ShoeBox
  • Sound effects: BFXR
  • Background Music: cgMusic
  • Time-lapsing: I will use plain ffmpeg (I have a script here that saves a screenshot every 10 seconds, and another one that puts it together as a video)
  • VCS: Git / Github

And since any base code and personal libraries that will be used must be declared previously, and shared with the community, this is what I will use, it has several tools for both AWT and Slick2D, as well as some misc utilities, so I hope it will be helpful for some of you.

I MAY also stream some parts, but I will definitely not use a mic. In case I do stream, it will be in Twitch.tv

That’s all for now, good luck to everyone!

Hey, I was just wondering what program you use to stream? I’ve never done it on twitch.tv before. Thanks :)

So, seems like I’m in…

After some sleep, I have come up with a couple crappy-ideas that will hopefully improve over time.

Toolkit:

  • Language: Haxe. (First time using it, though)
  • Library: HaxeFlixel.
  • IDE: HaxeDevelop.
  • Graphics: Paint.net / Photoshop.
  • Music/Sound: To be decided, probably bfxr or something similar.
  • COFFEE.

Good luck to everyone!!
