LD 40

I'm Afraid.

Previously I have participated in some game jams, but this will be my first Ludum Dare... I don't know if I will be able to complete the game...

Happy to finish

I have just submitted my ludum dare game for compo @ https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/coin-mania

It was so much fun to complete a game in such a short time...

This was my first Ludum dare

I am new to game development and this is my first ludum dare... Please play and rate my puzzle-platformer Coin Mania and tell me if you liked it or not! I will leave a link to my game for playing and commenting and rating... https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/coin-mania

Want to try out an easy puzzle platformer from a new game developer?

Exploring a new genre of games in a game jam was difficult for me... Have a look at my LD-40 Compo entry and rate my game... Reviews and comments will help every new game developer to gain more experience... And I would say, Not only rate my game but rate every single game(if possible) which are more neglected and have received less than 10 reviews! As they are mostly new game developers and need experience...

I know that some of you might have seen my previous posts, urging you to rate my game! Well, I have received four reviews until now... And I still need more to cross the par of 20.

I am in - It has been years

I made my last game about 2-3 years ago, most probably in Unity. I have been busy with my bachelor's and master's degrees. Although I have learnt a lot throughout that journey, moving countries and making friends, it's now time to dial down the built-up stress before my finals for master's, and game dev has been something in the back of my mind for a while. With the switching of the game dev scene, I have decided to use Godot as my engine, was reading a bit of documentation in the previous two days. Right now, my goal is to finish the coursework due this Sunday and set up a live stream before the competition starts so that I am not alone while making the game. Most probably will stream on YouTube at - https://www.youtube.com/@somuchcode. I am not so sure about Twitch but let me see if I can figure it out or not.

Getting back to game dev after a a while

A lot has happened since I last made a game. I completed my Masters, I became an assistant professor and even teaching some students basics of game dev. With added responsibilities I feel like it will be hard to get back to game jam, given I have an event to organize this Friday and Saturday. Any tips for me to get back to it with a "bang". (I am asking more of because, the last game jam I tried was brackeys game jam and I fell sick throughout the week so could not finish the game I wanted to make)
